One day, whether we like it or not, planet Earth is going to become inhabitable. Be that through climate change, natural disasters or our sun burning out, eventually humans will have to find a new home in order to survive.
‘New World Guides’ is a speculative design project that explores how humans might prepare for life on a new planet. The artworks act as informative advertisements for three of the seemingly most ‘Earth-like’ exoplanets ever discovered in the universe.
Taking inspiration from the iconic ‘Haynes Workshop Manuals’, the artworks use retro imagery as a way to nostalgically remember a future that has not happened yet.
