Alphabet Series

The ‘Alphabet Series’ is a collection of 11 hand made rugs that explore experimental forms of typography. 

The artworks are essentially about physicalising something which would usually remain digital. Coming from a graphic design background, often I  create some typography or a poster, then think ‘hummm this is quite nice’, only to proceed to leave it on my laptop for the rest of my life.

The rugs are a way to physicalising a digital creation. To create something physically real from something which is digitally real.
