Colour Space

Commissioned by Nxt Museum, the site specific installation is designed to explore the mood altering properties of colour within a space.

The 10 minute animation denotes various colour patterns that seamlessly shift from soft voids to pulsating orbs - creating different moods and feelings for viewers.

The space itself is a mass of different materials, textures, paints and surfaces. ‘Colour Space’ is designed to transmit colour onto these surfaces and create tonal gradients that change the atmosphere of the space. The artwork explores how the simple use of colour can have such power in altering the mood of individuals.
