Dayrise

Dayrise is an exploration into the omnificent relationship of water and light.

The artwork follows the cycle of a single sun which rises and sets on an ocean of water. As the sun gradually shifts, the environment of the room morphs into new realities.

These realities are based on research into what a sunset would look like on other planets in our solar system. The 6 minute audiovisual installation employs the use of 3D render animations and warped projection surfaces.
