Eerste Communie

Artwork created for nightlight brand Eerste Communie. 

The artwork was commissioned for a special club night hosted at new media art centre Nxt Museum in Amsterdam.

Visually the artwork originates from home made video footage of various natural forms, such as clouds moving in the sky, waves hitting the beach and trees moving in the forest. I took all the footage and digital stylised it to create a consistent visual language that morphed the natural imagery into a soft glowing aesthetic, replicating the feeling of being deep in the dance floor of a dark nightclub.

The artwork is a 6 minute looping video that is projected onto a curved limbo surface.
